Busy & engaged family moving to STREETERVILLE is looking for a PT Nanny/HM beginning of June!

Family has a 3yo boy and a small Frenchie (dog). Looking for an energized, vibrant caregiver that can lead with love and who has a great sense of direction. Someone who’s confident in their abilities and can “read the room” to assess how to tackle each day. Their toddler has a diagnosis of ASD and they’ve worked closely with their clinical psychologist for the last 2 years. His main obstacle is speech which he has shown major progress in the last year, thanks to his supportive team! The family values outings and exploration, which they have seen fosters autonomy and confidence in their son. They also value a Montessori-style approach.

A proactive caregiver that is highly-flexible in their schedule and who’s open to versatility in their role (especially while the family gets acclimated to a new city) would thrive in this role!

*Car not required, easier to access by public transit.

REQUIREMENTS: Standard vaccinations & flu shot. Dog-friendly.

START: Ideally start of June. Slightly flexible.

SCHEDULE: Summertime involves Monday-Friday, ~11:00am-5:00pm (or 12-6pm).

School-year would involve (M-F) 3 longer days, such as ~10:00am-5:30pm + 2 days for a few hours. Flexible with nanny’s preference, ensuring this switch is attractive & sustainable).

DUTIES: Light upkeep, laundry for child, keeping an eye on the dog. Support with groceries (ordering), errands. Meals, light meal prep for child. (No driving required).

PAY: $32-36/hour for 30 hour baseline schedule. $960-1,080/week, before taxes.
